No, we don't have an undeveloped picture here. There was no story in the newspaper because we didn't know that there was something interesting at this event that would have made a great newspaper story. We pride ourselves on our reporter's "nose for news," and try to cover all the outstanding happenings in the stake, but WE DO NOT HAVE A CRYSTAL BALL!
It was days later that someone told Adelle that the youth donned yellow vests and completed some excellent service projects in the community. She made a great after-the-fact effort to get some information and pictures. No one seemed to have pictures. If only we had had that crystal ball, we could have taken some ourselves.
Adelle finally located two pictures from Karen Cook, but it took time to identify the youth, and by then so much time had gone by that it was no longer "news." There must have been a lot of adults involved in this great project. We would very much have liked to have seen it in the newspaper. Please help us in the future.
